The hemlines and waistband are completely "hemmed" in the hoop - providing smart detail! The back of the skirt features an elastic waistband, so it will fit your 18" doll perfectly! The inside seams are also "serged" ITH, so there are no fraying edges. This design will provide lasting durability for play. If you've never made doll clothes before, this is a great starter pattern! You can also use your own embroidery designs on the front, for a unique touch!
